The Fast Show

The Fast Show, eh? What's not to like? I've recently bought the full set on DVD and I've not had anything else in the machine in all that time. My wife has been watching Mr Darcy, but that's another story. As Ken and Kenneth would no doubt say, "suits you Madam." Because of its nature, there really isn't time to get bored with anything in the Fast Show. Then when you see some of the ideas, plot lines, characters that they have invested a little more time in, the real value of the whole enterprise becomes even more clear. There is no finer creation in British TV comedy than Ted and Ralph, written of course by Linehan and Mathews, writers of Father Ted.
